Third-party plugin conflict

An LMU plugin may be involved when crashes begin after enabling it or the current trace identifies a plugin failure. Test that connection with a reversible change.

Checks and expected results

Before you repair it

  • Record recently enabled plugins and the point at which LMU fails.
  • Check the trace for plugin-related failure evidence and rule out a more specific content or hardware fault.
  • Close LMU and back up CustomPluginVariables.JSON before temporarily disabling plugin entries.

How to confirm the result

Repeat the same session with the suspect plugin disabled. If it works, re-enable entries individually to narrow the conflict; keep the original configuration available.

Repair limits and when to stop

A plugin name in a normal log line is not proof of a fault. Disabling plugins can remove their features during the test and does not repair the plugin itself.

How PitMedic recognizes it

Crash occurs with plugin-related trace evidence or after enabling a known plugin; no stronger hardware/content fault is present.
