Automobilista 2
Damaged custom force-feedback configuration
A custom AMS2 force-feedback file can cause initialization or parsing problems when it is invalid.
Checks and expected results
Before you repair it
- Check for a matching custom-file error and compare behavior with the supported default force-feedback option.
- Close Automobilista 2 and preserve ffb_custom_settings.txt before removing its active copy.
- Note the settings you will need to re-enter and change only the identified file or files.
How to confirm the result
Relaunch Automobilista 2, review the rebuilt settings, and repeat the original action. Confirm that a reviewed default force-feedback setup works without the previous initialization error. If it does not help, keep the new evidence and use the backup to restore the previous configuration with the simulator closed.
Repair limits and when to stop
Custom tuning is temporarily unavailable. Check force levels before driving and do not restore the same failing custom file without reviewing it.
